After beating Osasuna 2-0 on Thursday night, Barcelona will play Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday. Real Madrid also made it to the final after beating Atletico Madrid 5-3 in Riyadh 24 hours earlier.
The final between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be the second time in a row that the two teams have played each other. The Catalans won that game in January, scoring three goals to score the win. The game should be very different this time, though, at least that’s what Xavi Hernandez told Diario AS.

“This year Real Madrid is better than last year. Even though they’re a superteam, we’ll try to bđť–Šat them by going one-on-one. We have a lot of drive and won’t change much.
“We have a good chance of winning because of how we play, how we train, and how we compete against Real Madrid.” Last year we did it here, and until the 60th minute of this season we did it in the Clasico. That’s where the game needs to go to be bigger and better than them. Let more people see our DNA. We’re really driven, and it’s time to play our best.”
Even though the game isn’t in Spain, it should be a great event no matter what happens on Sunday. Barcelona wants to get back at Real Madrid for losing earlier this week, but Los Blancos will also be eager to do so because both teams are trying to win their first prize of the season.
