The team is not expected to spend excessively in this transfer window unless unexpected injuries alter their plans. Andre Trindade was a target in the summer, but with the new midfield signings performing well and showing stability, Liverpool has no intention of pursuing the Brazilian player.

There are no plans to strengthen the left-back position as Andrew Robertson is expected to return soon.

The center-back position is likely to be the area with the highest potential for reinforcement. However, acquiring a quality player in January is challenging. Liverpool is looking for a player under the age of 23 who can be developed rather than a finished product. Goncalo Inacio is a player being closely monitored.
