Fans ‘storm’ Al-Nassr hotel after Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury postpones China tour

Upset football supporters reportedly stormed Al-Nassr’s team hotel in China following Cristiano Ronaldo’s withdrawal from the club’s tour. Ronaldo was the highly anticipated star attraction for the Saudi Arabian outfit’s mid-season tour of China.

The team had been conducting training in the city of Shenzhen in preparation for scheduled friendlies against Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang on Wednesday and January 28, respectively.

However, Ronaldo, aged 38, had to withdraw from the games due to a muscle injury, leaving expectant fans disappointed. In response, Al-Nassr announced the postponement of the games to a later date to accommodate Ronaldo’s participation in the tour.

Despite the club’s decision, some fans seemed to express their displeasure over the postponed games.

Social media footage claimed to show supporters storming into a hotel, believed to be the Al-Nassr team hotel, to convey their “disappointment over Cristiano Ronaldo’s inability to participate in the friendly.”
