Sporting CP’s manager appears to be the leading candidate to succeed Jurgen Klopp this summer, according to Portuguese journalist Bruno Andrade, who claims Liverpool have initiated “initial contacts” with his representatives.

Additionally, fellow reporter Pedro Sepulveda has suggested that Liverpool has extended Amorim an offer “for the next three seasons,” marking perhaps the most significant assertion yet regarding his potential appointment as Klopp’s successor.

Meanwhile, sources in England have remained tight-lipped on the subject.
