Fabinho’s £40million move to Saudi side Al-Ittihad. At that time, the former Liverpool midfielder encountered difficulties because his dog breed was banned in Saudi Arabia.

It appears the couple are willing to call off the move to ensure they are not separated from their beloved pets
Fabinho and his wife own two French bulldogs, and the midfielder is seeking clarification on whether he can bring his beloved pets with him before finalizing a move.
A leaked document from Saudi Arabia, circulating on Twitter, suggested that the breed is prohibited in the country due to being classified as “dangerous and aggressive” dogs. However, exceptions can be made if the dogs are intended for hunting, guarding, or serving as guide dogs for the visually impaired.
Fabinho is reportedly prepared to walk away from the deal if his dogs are not permitted to accompany him to Saudi Arabia. Reports indicate that the deal is on the verge of collapse due to this unusual issue.
This comes after Al-Ittihad offered Fabinho £425,000-a-week to join the club.
Al-Ittihad, with Fabinho, recently suffered a defeat against Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final. Despite joining the club in August 2023, Fabinho has yet to make a significant contribution to the team. Despite investing heavily to acquire big names in football like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Fabinho, the club has not achieved any notable accomplishments thus far.
