According to PSG Talk, the Moroccan defender stated that the team from Paris will have a way to secure a ticket to the next round.
Paris Saint-Germain sets the goal to overturn the situation in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Barcelona. One issue the French capital club will need to address is their defense, but they will be bolstered by the return of Achraf Hakimi to the starting lineup.
In the first leg, PSG conceded three goals with Hakimi suspended due to accumulating enough yellow cards. Coach Luis Enrique had to find a way to patch up the defense, with Marquinhos playing as a right-back alongside young player Lucas Beraldo, who had a tough match, playing as a center-back.
When preparing to return, Hakimi spoke to reporters on Monday during a press conference. The Moroccan international highlighted how the Parisian club plans to deal with Barcelona’s attacks and avoid another dismal performance like in the first leg.
Hakimi told PSG Talk, “Not just Raphinha, but Barcelona also has other talented players, so we will need to defend tightly, win duels to make them uncomfortable controlling the game.”
