LIVERPOOL ‘unveiled’ the home kit for the 2024/2025 season

The latest images of Liverpool’s new home kit have been posted on the club’s official Instagram account, where fans, known as “The Kop,” can witness a nostalgic tribute to the past.

After the conclusion of this season, Manager Jurgen Klopp will indeed depart as announced earlier this year. The German strategist has been closely associated with the red half of Merseyside for nearly a decade and has led the team to various significant titles, notably the Champions League and the Premier League trophy for the first time in the club’s history.

Klopp’s departure means the club will have a new manager, a new playing style, and potentially new successes. However, one thing is certain: in the upcoming season, Liverpool will have a “new yet old” home kit.

Specifically, Liverpool’s 2024/2025 season kit features a chrome gold pattern inspired by the club’s 1984 jersey. This was the season when legends like Graeme Souness, Kenny Dalglish, and Ian Rush won the European Cup and became the first English club to achieve the treble of major trophies.

In the latest images posted on Social Media Platform X, which boasts over 24.4 million followers of Liverpool’s official page, both male and female team stars have appeared in the mentioned new kit. Among them, notable names include Virgil van Dijk, Mac Allister, Trent Arnold, and Darwin Nunez.

Most notably, the case of superstar Mohamed Salah stands out, as the Egyptian forward is rumored to be “following in” Klopp’s footsteps in leaving this summer, amid interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Salah’s current contract with Liverpool is set to expire next summer, presenting an opportunity for major clubs in the Middle East to enter the race for the former Roma star’s signature.

Another reason to reinforce Salah’s potential departure is the reported conflict between the Egyptian player and Manager Jurgen Klopp. Both were involved in a heated argument on the sidelines during the match between West Ham and Liverpool. The German coach later stated that everything had been resolved, while Salah hinted that it would be a big deal if any statements were made.
