According to information from Football Insider, Liverpool is paying special attention to Brest defender Bradley Locko.
Locko officially joined Brest from Reims last summer after six months on loan at Stade Francis Le Ble. After making 34 appearances across all competitions this season, the French star contributed three assists and became one of the indispensable pillars in Eric Roy’s defensive lineup.
Locko’s consistent performance as a 22-year-old defender has significantly contributed to Brest’s preparations for their first-ever participation in the Champions League. Currently, Stade Francis Le Ble sits in third place in the Ligue standings with 57 points from 32 matches, two points ahead of fourth-placed Lille.
Locko’s brilliant performance helped the player born in 2002 get into the sights of many big teams in Europe, notably Liverpool.
The Kop is set for a busy summer ahead, especially after new manager Arne Slot arrived to replace his predecessor Jurgen Klopp. One of the key areas that the Dutch coach aims to upgrade is the left-back position, as Liverpool has often taken to the field this season without a natural left-back due to frequent injuries to Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas.
In addition to Liverpool, two other Premier League clubs, West Ham United and Aston Villa, have also set their sights on Locko.
