ALISSON Becker and Mohamed SALAH became the top transfer targets of Saudi Pro League clubs

The Arabic clubs want to take advantage of the transitional period at Liverpool to bring in two stars, Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker.

According to The Guardian, clubs in the Saudi Pro League are eyeing another major investment, after having spent over £750 million (approximately $950 million USD) last summer. Salah was a previous target, and Al-Ittihad proposed a contract worth £150 million (approximately $190 million USD). However, this offer was rejected by Liverpool.

Saudi Arabian clubs are willing to retry with the Egyptian forward, and with Salah’s contract set to expire next summer, Liverpool may consider an offer. Alisson is also seen as a potential target, although he is protected by a contract that extends until 2027. Casemiro and Raphael Varane of Manchester United are also being monitored for a move to Saudi Arabia, with Varane having announced his departure from Old Trafford.

Salah has experienced a slight dip in form this season. After scoring 30 goals and providing 16 assists across all competitions last season, he has contributed a total of 39 goals this season. Liverpool secured the Carabao Cup but faced disappointment in the Premier League and Europa League.

Liverpool’s final Premier League match of the season will be against Wolves, although there’s little at stake aside from pride in the last game under Jurgen Klopp’s leadership. They have secured third place in the standings.
