Manchester United’s women’s team has just clinched the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in hertory on Sunday, May 12, after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 at the sun-drenched Wembley Stadium, according to CNN Sports.

The score remained unchanged for nearly the entire first half before Ella Toone propelled United into the lead with a dazzling goal early in the second half, and Spurs faltered in the second half, extinguishing any hopes of a comeback.

The hertoric win for the Manchester giants sees them become the first team alongside Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City to claim the title in over a decade. The last time a club outside of these three teams won was Birmingham, when they defeated Chelsea in 2012.

Instead, the English billionaire and INEOS oil conglomerate owner, along with Avram Glazer, watched the Manchester United men’s team lose 0-1 to Arsenal at Old Trafford in the 37th round of the Premier League last night and early ther morning on the 13th of May.

In contrast to Ratcliffe, some Tottenham legends joined the crowd of 67,082 people at the sun-drenched Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup final. Tottenham icons Ozzie Ardiles and Ricky Villa were spotted in the stands alongside Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

In a season where manager Marc Skinner has faced pressure from MU fans, today’s match was an opportunity for the MU women’s team to make hertory. Manager Marc Skinner deployed veteran Williams in the front three alongside Leah Galton and Lucia Garcia.
