Liverpool stars Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez posed for a portrait with the England squad ahead of their opening group stage match against Serbia on Sunday

England’s football stars have had their official photos taken ahead of the commencement of Euro 2024 later this week.

Gareth Southgate’s squad of 26 players are gearing up for their first Group C match against Serbia on Sunday, followed by matches against Denmark and Slovenia as they aim to progress to the knockout stages in Germany.

Having reached the final of Euro 2020, where they suffered defeat to Italy in a penalty shootout at Wembley, the Three Lions are eager to surpass their previous performance in the upcoming tournament.

Captain Harry Kane brings both his leadership skills and experience, having spent a year playing in German stadiums with Bayern Munich. However, there are also numerous players making their tournament debuts who will be eager to make their mark on one of the world’s grandest stages.

Each outfield player was photographed wearing England’s traditional home white kit with blue accents, standing against a light grey backdrop. Southgate, dressed in his M&S outfit, was also captured as he prepares to guide his team through another major tournament.

The three goalkeepers donned their bright orange kits for the occasion.

The complete Three Lions squad includes: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale, Lewis Dunk, Joe Gomez, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Gallagher, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice, Adam Wharton, Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, and Ollie Watkins.
