The midfielder stormed in at the back post to head the Three Lions in front after just 13 minutes, which proved to be the winner in a 1-0 England victory.

Bukayo Saka’s cross took a helpful deflection that fell to Bellingham, who beat the defender to the ball as he headed into the top corner.

He then showed off a never-before-seen celebration with team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The pair both took a knee and placed their palm over their face, with some fans saying it reminded them of WWE star Booker T.

But it was in fact a nod to the card game Werewolf.

The 20-year-old explained: “When we play Wolf, one of the staff loves loves that face when he doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.

“That was a group celebration for the Wolf, the Wolf crew.”

It is a card game which requires strategic thinking to come out on top and the objective of the game is to identify and kill the werewolves amongst the villagers.
