Angry fans criticized two England stars, demanding immediate removal from the squad after a POOR performance.

England’s poor performance against Slovenia left Three Lions fans unhappy.

England have already booked their place in the last 16 but the Three Lions need a win against Slovenia to secure top spot in Group C. However, Southgate’s side’s performance disappointed everyone despite achieving their ultimate goal.

The 90 minutes against Slovenia could be summed up as a poor performance from England, with the Three Lions struggling against a disciplined Slovenian defence. During the match, England fans criticised Southgate’s decision to field Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and Newcastle United full-back Kieran Trippier.

Sportbible has quoted some typical comments highlighting the problem of the England team.

One fan said on social media: “Gallagher was never the answer. The first half was terrible, the second half lasted 10 minutes and we looked a lot better with the right players in their positions. Mainoo or Wharton would have improved that aspect.”

Another tweeted: “Mainoo had an immediate impact. Gallagher should never have started in the first team.”

A third fan added: “ Trippier is average but has become one of Southgate’s favourites. He should be third choice at right-back at best.”

Another wrote: “ Should have replaced Trippier with Gomez, Trippier coming on all the time means Foden has no space, plus Gomez has played half a season there for Liverpool.”

A fifth commented: “Trippier is completely clueless at left-back, we are completely harmless.”

Speaking at half-time, former England goalkeeper Joe Hart told BBC Radio 5 Live: “It all looked a bit confusing for England, especially on the left. Jude Bellingham came in and took up the left-back position in the final third, to link up with Phil Foden, but it left Kieran Trippier not knowing when to go and when not to. You could see Foden trying to make an impact but no one seemed to be catching his run.”

Southgate made early changes at the start of the second half, bringing Mainoo and Palmer onto the pitch. It was clear that the Three Lions were much better with the two young players. However, the time they spent on the pitch was not enough to make a difference. In the end, the match ended in a 0-0 draw, with England still lucky to come out on top as Denmark drew with Serbia.

With this result, England entered the easy draw , avoiding big names like Spain, Germany, Portugal and France.
