👍11 Striker Kylian Mbappe was accused of insulting colleague Robert Lewandowski as a “son of a bitch” after being hit in the face during France’s draw with Poland in the final round of the EURO 2024 group stage.

In the 87th minute, Mbappe fought from behind with Lewandowski, at the right moment the Polish striker swung his arm out and “accidentally” hit the French captain in the face. The Real Madrid rookie had to lie on the ground holding his face for a while, then pulled his mask up and cursed, the original text according to information from Foot Mercato was: “That guy is a son of a bitch”.

Mbappe’s reaction is understandable, as he broke his nose in the opening match of EURO 2024 against Austria, but agreed not to have surgery to continue playing in the tournament with a protective mask.
