Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has shared his opinions on several prominent figures in European football while away with Portugal at the European Championship
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota claims he has a club teammate who surpasses Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham, who joined the La Liga giants from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Jota, who didn’t play as Portugal advanced to the European Championship’s last 16 by defeating Turkey earlier today, has been sharing his views with various media outlets during the competition. Previously, he has rated himself higher than Mohamed Salah in terms of finishing and named Alexis Mac Allister as the Premier League’s best player.
In a recent blind ranking of soccer stars, Jota placed Trent Alexander-Arnold above Bellingham. Although the Liverpool number 66 has yet to show his best form while playing in midfield in Germany, he remains one of the world’s top players.
After ranking Alexander-Arnold in second place, Jota was asked to rank Bellingham. “Third then,” he replied in a video with Goal that was shared on Instagram.
AS Roma and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala was placed fifth, while Arsenal and Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus took the fourth spot. Due to the video format, the first place had to go to Jota himself.
