Shohei Ohtani Signature Collection by New Balance Revealed: Featuring Apparel and Cleats

Shohei Ohtani, the standout player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has been the face of New Balance since signing with them in 2023 and wears the company’s gear on the field. Ohtani worked with New Balance earlier in March to create his own emblem for his signature line.

The Shohei Ohtani Signature line, which featured cleats and clothing, was launched by New Balance on Tuesday. The new Ohtani logo was featured on hoodies, T-shirts, custom baseball cleats, and other sports clothing. The massive footwear brand has declared that the collection will be on sale worldwide on July 15.

“A closer examination of the Signature Collection by Shohei Ohtani. July 15 is the global launch date, according to the post’s caption from New Balance.

“Shohei Ohtani has been an absolute pleasure to work with both on and off the diamond since he teamed up with New Balance. “We have worked together on charitable projects in Japan, worldwide brand storytelling, product, and many more things to come,” stated Chris Davis, the chief marketing officer and senior vice president of merchandising at New Balance. The new unique logo designed by Shohei Ohtani for New Balance is a “visual representation” of his journey.

Ohtani’s new logo was unveiled by New Balance prior to the Dodgers-Padres game in Seoul. Ohtani is pictured rounding first base in the logo. All upcoming Ohtani-New Balance collaboration projects and collections will use this.

Ohtani was thrilled to discuss the news at the press conference that took place after the release.

“To finally reveаl this special logo that I’ve worked closely on is truly an exciting moment for me,” Ohtani stated. “I’m thrilled to show it to the public as a visual depiction of my baseball career. Additionally, I’m excited to use this logo for upcoming projects that we’ll be revealing during the 2024 season.”

Regarding baseball, Ohtani is having again another fantastic season, taking the Dodgers by storm and already winning MVP recognition. He is striking.314 in addition to 28 home runs, 65 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases, which lead the NL.

Furthermore, with a team that appears to be a clear favorite to win the World Series, this may be the year that the two-time AL MVP finally gets a taste of the postseason.
