Brothers of England stars Harry Kane and Declan Rice were spotted generously buying drinks for a group of Three Lions supporters in Berlin, ahead of the Euro 2024 final against Spain.
Gareth Southgate’s team has thrilled the nation by reaching their second major tournament final under his leadership. Fans have been soaking in the festive atmosphere in Berlin ahead of the big game.
A few fans ran into the siblings of two of England’s star players at the Europa Centre in the German capital, where the brothers kindly offered to buy the supporters a round of shots.
In a clip posted on X by user Connor Wakefield, Declan Rice’s older brother, Connor, is seen encouraging fans to join the party and offering shots to England supporters inside the bar.
Harry Kane’s brother, Charlie, also appears in the short clip and is mentioned by Rice’s sibling at one point. The video concludes with an image of around 60 generously purchased shots resting on the bar.
In the video, Rice is seen handing out shots to people inside the bar, telling one person, “Come on, bro, let’s go, go, go,” and adding, “Get it down your gullet.”
Charlie Kane is well-known to football fans for his role as his brother’s agent for many years. He notably helped Harry Kane secure a move to Bayern Munich last summer.
Kane’s brother was not included on FIFA’s list of agents, after the governing body introduced new tests which intermediaries had to pass before October 1 2023 to be granted a licence as part of new regulations.
Ahead of the exams, close to 15,000 agents were registered. That number rocketed when FIFA deregulated the industry in 2015. However, the latest list now features just 4,766 names.
Kane is one of a number of relatives of Three Lions players who represent their family members not on the list. Mark Bellingham, father of Jude, is among those on the directory.
FIFA introduced the 60-minute, 20-question test this year. Agents had to revise from a 528-page book for the exam. Some agencies paid as much as £800 per hour for online tuition. To obtain a licence, entrants who were not deemed longer-serving ‘legacy agents’ had to pass before the start of this month.
