Jurgen Klopp has been savoring his break since departing Liverpool. Recently, he traveled to Germany to attend the European Championship final between England and Spain.
Jurgen Klopp, despite leaving Liverpool at the end of the last season, has remained visible in recent weeks, taking advantage of his free time by attending various prominent events. He and his wife Ulla were seen at one of Taylor Swift’s concerts at Anfield, and they were also spotted enjoying tennis matches in Majorca. Klopp witnessed his former club Borussia Dortmund’s defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid and has been relaxing at his new luxurious villa.
This past weekend, Klopp was present as Spain emerged victorious over England in the European Championship final. The former Liverpool manager likely shared the sentiments of many regarding the perplexing decisions surrounding the usage, or lack thereof, of Trent Alexander-Arnold during the match.
During his time in Berlin, Klopp seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself, capturing moments with several notable figures. The Liverpool legend was seen alongside NBA star Dennis Schroder, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets and the German national basketball team. He also took a photo with Ed Sheeran, the renowned singer of “Shape Of You,” as well as German handball players David Spaeth and Jurik Norr.
While Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez were sidelined for England, Klopp could still appreciate the quality of the Spanish team, where Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal posed significant challenges for the Three Lions. Williams, especially, proved to be a formidable threat, exploiting the space behind Kyle Walker which led to both goals.
