TeamTalk reports that Liverpool will only sell Trent Alexander Arnold for €80 million. The Reds are demanding a price for the England international in order to end interest from Real Madrid, who are planning to sign the 25-year-old this summer. Arnold is out of contract next summer, so Liverpool want to recoup the transfer fee, rather than lose him for free in 12 months.
Al Nassr have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Bento from Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense for a fee of €18m. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Al Nassr will no longer pursue goalkeeper Ederson after their €30m bid was rejected by Man City.
Sources have confirmed to ESPN that the LA Galaxy are in talks to sign former Dortmund and Germany attacking midfielder Marco Reus. If the deal is completed, Reus would join the LA Galaxy’s already potent attack of Riqui Puig, Gabriel Pec, Dejan Joveljic and Joseph Paintsil. The 35-year-old is currently a free agent after his Dortmund contract expired at the end of last season.
Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold in the summer of 2024. The 25-year-old has spent his entire career at Anfield and has developed into a star. Los Blancos have previously made several attempts to sign the England international, but the move has never materialised.
With Alexander-Arnold entering the final year of his Liverpool contract, it is no surprise that Real Madrid have shown renewed interest. However, Liverpool fans have been left surprised to learn that Alexander-Arnold is also reportedly interested in a move to the Spanish capital.
According to BILD, Real Madrid’s interest in Alexander-Arnold is “clear” and the English player has also left open the possibility of moving to the royal team.
Liverpool and new manager Arne Slot want to keep Alexander-Arnold for as long as possible. However, if they cannot extend his contract, they could lose the 25-year-old for free next summer.
Alexander-Arnold has made 310 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 19 goals in all competitions. At Anfield, the England international has won titles such as the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Alexander-Arnold has also made 29 appearances for the national team and was part of the Three Lions squad for EURO 2024. He started the first two group stage matches as a central midfielder, although he has been a regular at right-back for his club.
The Liverpool star’s performance was not impressive. He did not play in the final when England lost to Spain.
