Football supporters were thrilled to see Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior connect with iconic American rapper Travis Scott in Madrid on Wednesday (July 31). Currently on holiday, the Brazilian shared a photo with Scott, who is touring in Europe.

Vinicius had an outstanding 2023-24 season with Real Madrid, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in 39 games across competitions. This included a crucial goal in their 2-0 Champions League final win against Borussia Dortmund on June 1, which secured a historic double for the Los Blancos.

After a rather disappointing Copa America with Brazil, where his team was eliminated in the quarter-finals by Uruguay, the 24-year-old is currently enjoying his break. He recently attended a Travis Scott concert in Madrid.

Vinicius posted a photo of himself exchanging his number 7 jersey with the rapper on social media platform X, referring to Scott as a ‘Legend.’

Fans were equally excited about the meeting of two iconic figures in their respective fields, with one fan describing it as the encounter of ‘GOATs.’

“Two GOATs,” the fan wrote.Expand Tweet”Vini doing side quests”, one fan posted.

Back in May, Vinicius had commented on one of Travis Scott’s Instagram posts, requesting a concert in Madrid. His wish certainly came true, as the Brazilian was able to attend the concert on July 31.

“He knows Vini is going to win the Balon d’Or,” one fan claimed”Advertising for Ballon dor is in full swing,” another fan commented.”Greatness recognizes Greatness,” a fan chimed in.

Vinicius Junior returns to training as Real Madrid gear up for Barcelona clash

After attending Travis Scott’s concert in Madrid, Vinicius has returned to Real Madrid’s base in the United States as the team prepares for the new season. Following a 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in their first pre-season game on Wednesday (July 31), Carlo Ancelotti’s men will face Barcelona in the El Clasico at MetLife Stadium on Saturday (August 3).

Vinicius was joined by his Brazilian teammates Rodrygo and Eder Militao, as Real Madrid move closer to full strength. Jude Bellingham, Dani Carvajal, and recent addition Kylian Mbappe are expected to join soon, with the Los Blancos set to play two more friendlies before they face Atalanta in the Super Cup final on August 14.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti has indicated that there may be no further signings for Real Madrid this summer. Despite the club’s pursuit of a center-back and their failure to acquire Leny Yoro, who has joined Manchester United, Ancelotti is content with the squad depth and expects it to remain unchanged.

“The squad is closed. Jesus Vallejo is back. David Alaba is recovering. We have young centre-backs like Joan, Jacobo and Raul [Asencio] who are training and have a lot of quality. I believe we are well covered in this position,” he said (via ESPN).

Real Madrid are strong favorites to win the La Liga title once again, thanks to their superstar talent across all positions. They will certainly aim for another successful season under Ancelotti’s leadership.
