Jack Grealish almost fell during Sunday’s open-top bus procession for Manchester City, but he was saved.
A day earlier, the Cityzens were denied a double, double after losing the FA Cup Final 2-1 to Manchester United.

Nevertheless, after defeating rivals Arsenal 3-1 on the final day, Pep Guardiola’s club achieved history by becoming the first to win the championship four years in a row.
In front of thousands of supporters, the City team and staff were excited to commemorate their most recent Premier League victory by bringing the trophy on a citywide tour.
Similar to the moments we saw a year ago during their treble-winning antics, England player Grealish, 28, stole the show.
Prior to the championship parade the previous year, he was known to have indulged in a three-day binge, after which he was immortalized in a bustop picture.
However, the delightful assailant had a more scarier experience this time around as he twice narrowly avoided total catastrophe.
Several videos of Grealish dancing with his hands in the air while the players enjoyed the applause from fans went popular on social media.
But the bus came to a stop, then shot forward, almost sending Grealish flying off it.
Thankfully, winger Jeremy Doku was able to apprehend him fast enough to steer him back in a secure manner.
However, it appears that the celebrity had not taken the lesson to heart, as a subsequent video showing him making an almost impossible escape appeared.
This one, which was taken from a ground-based supporter’s perspective, had Grealish and Rodri standing and singing with the fans atop the bus.
The bus jerked ahead again, taking both men by surprise, but this time Rodri, the quick-thinking Spaniard, stopped Grealish from falling by putting an arm across his teammate.
During yesterday’s parade, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne were also observed having a good time.
Meanwhile, Phil Foden, the Footballer of the Year, praised yet another “special season” at the Etihad.
“It’s been a special season,” he stated. It is an incredible season, something no one has ever done before.
It’s my internal yearning. With our talented players, we want to win more games the following year.
Despite playing minimally in City’s final game, Grealish was included in Gareth Southgate’s preliminary Euro 2024 team.
The £100 million player didn’t play in any of City’s five May games; he wasn’t even used as a substitute in the FA Cup Final.
His manager, though, believes he can recover after he only managed three goals and the same number of assists.
Guardiola declared, “He’s coming back.”
“Jeremy has made a tremendous improvement, as everyone has witnessed in the last few games, and he has struggled this season.
“But I’m pretty sure Jack will return to last season’s level.”
