Trent Alexander-Arnold has won the hearts of Liverpool fans.
He’s known for his unique and amusing celebration. Here’s everything you need to know about the football star.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a football player in the Premier League and for the England national team.
Born on October 7, 1998, in West Derby, Liverpool, he was only six years old when he attended a camp hosted by Liverpool FC with his classmates.
It was during this camp that a coach recognized his talent and offered him a place in the club’s academy.
Alexander-Arnold began training two or three times a week before later going on to captain the club at U16 and U18 level.
It was in the 2015–16 season that Alexander-Arnold was selected for the first team squad by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Former captain Steven Gerrard singled the player out in his own autobiography, saying he saw that he had a bright future.
He got his first England cap in 2018, and played in England’s first match at the 2018 World Cup against Belgium.
He was picked for the World Cup in 2022, but again only played one match.
He was also part of the England Euros 2024 squad, slotting home a penalty in the quarter-final win against Switzerland.
Like other footballers, Alexander-Arnold has his own celebration when he scores a goal.
This involves the footballer running to the side lines before putting his finger to his lips to tell the other team to be quiet.
Alexander-Arnold has spoken about his celebration, saying that he finds it “funny” when he scores while playing away.
He said: “It’s always good to celebrate in front of away fans.
“Seeing all of the faces is really funny.”
