Manchester City striker Phil Foden was voted the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Year, while Cole Palmer received the Best Young Player award.
Phil Foden was a key player in Manchester City’s fourth successive Premier League title. Last season, he scored 19 goals and provided eight assists, and his achievements are now being recognised by his peers.
Thus, Phil Foden has completed a trio of individual awards in the 2023-2024 season when receiving awards from the Premier League, FWA (Football Writers’ Association) and now PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association).
Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer was also named PFA Young Player of the Year. He finished second only to Man City’s Erling Haaland in the Premier League scoring charts last season with 22 goals and also scored more goals than any other Chelsea player – 11.
