Inside the Unconventional World of Jack Grealish: Netflix Documentary Reveals Man City Star’s Quirky Habits, Including Dog Visits from Girlfriend Sasha

For Manchester City, Jack Grealish has been a star both on and off the field. The £100 million England winger is currently enjoying success in the team’s new Netflix series.

Grealish’s sense of humour is evident as he talks about how much he loves Bristol City’s Bovril, a meaty drink, and why he always walks his cockapoo, Skye, on the training site.

The historical Treble-winning season of City is chronicled in a new six-part documentary series. While there is much to analyze on the field, fans are most exposed to Grealish’s personality off it.

In one scenario, Grealish strolls around City’s training area with his dog Skye and model girlfriend Sasha Attwood.

The pair explains that because they live in an apartment in the Northern Quarter section of the city center, there isn’t much green space for Skye to run around in, so the training ground has turned into the cockapoo’s second home.

Grealish declares, “I love my dog man, I love her more than anything in the world.”

“The dogs are just happy to see you when you come back after a game, win or lose.”

When Skye was still a puppy, Attwood surprised Grealish with him on his birthday; the City actor calls his cockapoo the “best present ever.”

However, Grealish and Attwood haven’t always had an easy time making use of City’s luxurious training facility.

“I brought her on the pitch one day, and we had obviously practiced there earlier,” Grealish recalls. “She did the biggest, like, right in the middle of the pitch.”

Grealish is an important player in the changing room because of his gregarious nature.

He decides to educate a few of his teammates about the beefy beverage Bovril in episode four.

Grealish persuades Swiss defender Manuel Akanji to give it a shot despite his misgivings.

Grealish remarks, “I don’t really think Manu liked it; I just think he said “yes” to get me away from him.” He then offers it to every person in the dressing room.

‘They were amazing, I brought around eight of them home!’

Even though he was unable to persuade every member of the dressing room to join the Bovril train, Grealish’s popularity among teammates and staff is evident.

Jokes by Bernardo Silva Grealish has a ‘4/10’ hair grade, and following training, he and Riyad Mahrez usually compete to see who can have the best close control.

The two frequently played a game where they would knock the ball off the side of the main building at the training facility. Mahrez, who is no longer with the club, was known for his touch. The loser is the one who is unable to stop the ball from hitting the ground.
