Alexis Mac Allister views his extensive collection of tattoos as far from trivial.
The Argentine midfielder, who has a deep appreciation for body art, boasts a series of tattoos that nearly cover his entire left arm, each carrying personal significance.
In an interview with Liverpoolfc.com, he expressed his admiration for the aesthetic appeal of tattoos, referencing Carlsberg’s Inked series, saying, “I like how they look on the body.”
However, Mac Allister emphasizes that the true value of tattoos lies in their meaning. His current collection spans a wide range of themes, including football, religion, and family. One prominent tattoo features a child holding a ball and standing next to a heart, which Mac Allister describes as a representation of his love for football.
The tattoo series also prominently displays the names of his parents and two older siblings, although Mac Allister notes that it is not yet complete.
He acknowledges with a smile that he plans to add his sister’s name to the collection, expressing that he feels her presence is important to include. “I’ll finish it, but I’m still missing my sister,” he said. “I know she thinks about it! I would also like her presence for that reason.”
