Liverpool fans are even more excited about their new signing, Federico Chiesa, following the release of training footage showing the Italian forward scoring impressive goals. Liverpool acquired Chiesa from Juventus on a four-year deal, starting at £10 million with the potential to reach £12.5 million through add-ons.
He was in attendance at Old Trafford for Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Manchester United and has been seen actively integrating with his new team this week.
During the international break, Federico Chiesa joined Liverpool’s Under-21 squad for training. In one video, he was seen nutmegging a player before curving his shot toward the goal.
The footage of Chiesa’s training session impressed Liverpool fans on social media, as he skillfully found the bottom corner with his effort while practicing with the under-21 team.
In another video, the Italian forward was seen controlling the ball, maneuvering around a defender, and scoring with a shot into the top of the net.
Liverpool supporters responded enthusiastically to the footage, with one commenting, “Chiesa is going to be outstanding, truly incredible.”
Arne Slot expressed high praise for Chiesa, outlining his expectations for what the 26-year-old will bring to Liverpool following his transfer.
