Liverpool staged a stunning comeback to defeat Milan, with Van Dijk and Szoboszlai shining by scoring goals

Liverpool showed their strength against AC Milan. The home team started the game better, when Christian Pulisic dribbled and scored in the 3rd minute.

The early goal was pretty much all AC Milan could muster in this match. Liverpool completely dominated the rest of the game. After several missed chances, Ibrahima Konaté headed home the equalizer in the 23rd minute.

Mohamed Salah was unlucky with goals. In the first half alone, the Egyptian superstar hit the crossbar of AC Milan twice. Fortunately, the away team’s defenders took turns to shine.

In the 41st minute, it was Virgil van Dijk’s turn to score with a similar scenario to Konate’s previous goal. The Dutch defender easily headed the ball into the home team’s penalty area without much pressure.

Before being forced off the field in the 51st minute, the 29-year-old goalkeeper played impressively, making 5 successful saves.
