According to The Sun, John Arne Riise sent messages to 15 women back in 2005.
John Arne Riise was a well-known figure in English football, especially during his time at Liverpool. The former Norwegian footballer rose to fame as part of The Kop, and he notably won the Champions League in 2005 during his career with the club.
In 2008, Arne Riise departed from Liverpool to join AS Roma, continuing his career with stints at teams like Fulham and APOEL.
Beyond his successful on-field career, Arne Riise has garnered attention for his tumultuous personal life. Recently, The Sun uncovered details about the 45-year-old former player’s private affairs.
It was revealed that Arne Riise sent messages to 15 different women in 2005, all containing the same content. The Sun disclosed one of his text messages, which read:
“Good evening… After asking several people for your contact information, I finally got it. In my eyes, you are a cute, charming girl with a lot of charisma.”
“Hopefully, we can meet. I would love to invite you to a romantic evening just for the two of us. Sending you kisses from John Arne Riise.”
Arne Riise reached out to 15 women in Norway, many of whom were former beauty queens and models. Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten reported that one of his ‘targets’ included former Miss Universe Mona Grudt.
