After overturning an early 18-point hole, the Detroit Pistons defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 120-87 at home to start the preseason on a high note. With 22 points, Jaden Ivey took the lead after hitting six of his eight shots and all three of his 3-pointers. Additionally scoring in double digits were Ron Holland (10 points, six rebounds, five assists), Malik Beasley (11 points), and Cade Cunningham (13 points).
The Bucks overcame a difficult start to start the game with a 20-3 run, making five of their six 3-point tries. The Pistons responded, cutting the gap to 11 before outscoring the lead later to grow to 18.
