Phil Foden’s net worth has skyrocketed after his successes both on and off the field
Digging into Foden’s huge income spike
Phil Foden’s net worth has skyrocketed following his successes on and off the pitch.
A recent hat-trick against Aston Villa has seen Phil Foden’s side of the story scrutinised. Foden, who signed a new five-year contract with City in October 2022, is working hard on and off the pitch to secure a future for his family. Despite only being 23, Foden has taken the initiative and is starting to think long-term about his future as a player’s career is short.
Foden has partnered with Nike, Hugo Boss and jewellery brand Cernucci to maximise his personal income to support his son Ronnie and his ‘other half’ Rebecca Cooke. The big brand deals reportedly help Foden earn more money alongside his £200,000-a-week wages at Manchester City .
Foden’s off-field earnings have been revealed in accounts filed with Rondog Sports Ltd, which owns his image rights. He also has a lucrative boot deal with sportswear brand Nike – wearing the Phantom GX SE while playing for Manchester City and England.
He also nods to other brands like TCL Mobile & Stat Sports – the most advanced wearable technology partners for footballers on the market. In addition, Foden has built a huge buzz on social media, attracting 10.6 million followers on Instagram. The Man City “chicken” also appears on Facebook and X.
Meanwhile, jewelry brand ‘cernucci’ is one of the partners willing to pay Foden to promote its products. In addition, Foden’s popularity on and off the pitch also helps him earn a significant amount of money through shirt sales. It is known that top players will receive a fee when products bearing their name, shirt number, signature or voice are sold.
Foden is also believed to have set up PF Property Holdings in 2022. According to The Sun, Foden has yet to open accounts but records show the England international paid £180,000 for a house in Stockport last year.
Foden isn’t the only breadwinner in the family, though. The England international’s son Ronnie has signed a high-profile modelling contract with a fashion brand after becoming a social media star. Foden’s son has been pictured posing in clothing brand Flannel on his personal account, which has 3.8 million followers, according to The Sun.
Ronnie’s official Instagram account shows him posing with a number of brands including sustainable clothing label Little Bird and Manchester-based store The Couture Club. According to Influencer Marketing Hub, Instagram accounts with over a million followers are considered ‘mega influencers’ and can earn up to £10,000 per post for a collaboration, while more high-profile celebrity accounts can earn up to £1 million.
