Jack Grealish and girlfriend Sasha Attwood welcome first child

Jack Grealish has become a father for the first time after his partner Sasha Attwood gave birth to their first child, with the pair receiving a flood of well-wishes on social media.

Jack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood have welcomed their first child together.

The childhood sweethearts announced the birth of baby girl Mila while her dad was on England duty. Grealish and Sasha, who have been together for ten years, shared a picture of the little girl holding her finger with the caption “Mila Rose Grealish 27/09/24”, suggesting she was born last month.

The happy news has been met with well-wishes from Grealish’s team-mates, past and present, with Declan Rice sharing a heart emoji. Former England star Dele Alli posted “Congratulations” alongside a series of heart emojis, while Aston Villa player Ross Barkley also shared: “Congratulations lad”.

Aston Villa hero Ian Taylor posted: “Congratulations mate!” Grealish’s former Villa Park team-mate Gabriel Agbonlahor wrote: “Congrats mate.” And former Netherlands international Tim Krul commented with heart emojis.

Grealish played for Man City on September 28 in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle at St James’ Park, meaning he appeared to have returned to work the day after Mila was born. The couple had previously announced they were expecting in August, with Sasha showing off her growing baby bump.

Sasha spent much of her pregnancy experimenting with different clothes and offering advice to other mums-to-be. She signed a lucrative deal with PrettyLittleThing in the summer and began promoting the brand’s maternity wear to her thousands of social media followers.

Grealish is now back in the England squad after missing out on Euro 2024 in the summer.
