On X, a fan wrote, “Giannis never fails to impress” (previously Twitter).
“What a fantastic refusal! Giannis demonstrates once more why he is a formidable defensive player. Looking forward to more activity this season! A admirer added another one.
While some fans were amused by Antetokounmpo’s athletic defensive play, others emphasized the irony of the block coming on James, one of the league’s top chase-down artists.
One admirer humorously remarked, “How’s it taste, old man?” regarding James accompanied with multiple laughing and deer emojis.
