Domenico Tedesco has revealed that he will switch up his tactics against France and will no longer play Manchester City’s Jérémy Doku in a wing-back role. He will instead feature in a more conventional position on the left-wing, in support of striker Lois Openda

The lone player missing as Belgium gets ready to play France in the UEFA Nations League on Monday is Amadou Onana. Due to a minor hamstring injury, the Aston Villa midfielder was also unable to play in the opening encounter against Italy. Aster Vranckx, the team’s replacement, is anticipated to start the match against Les Bleus.

Domenico Tedesco has disclosed that he will be using a different strategy against France and will not be using Jérémy Doku of Manchester City as a wing-back. Rather than playing a more unconventional role on the left wing, he will assist striker Lois Openda. Leandro Trossard of Arsenal will start as No. 10 for Belgium instead of Charles De Ketelaere, while Dodi Lukebakio, who came off the bench against Italy, will start on the right flank.

In the Nations League, France defeated Belgium behind two goals by Kolo Muani.

With a 2-1 victory over Belgium on Monday, Randal Kolo Muani scored twice to help France keep their prospects of making it to the Nations League quarterfinals alive.

The hosts, who had controlled play at the Koning Boudewijnstadion in Brussels and erred in a penalty after William Saliba’s awkward lunge on Lois Openda halfway through the first half, were dealt a severe.

Youri Tielemans, the captain of Belgium, relieved Saliba by blasting his shot past France goalkeeper Mike Maignan’s crossbar.

However, Openda made up for Tielemans’ error just before halftime by heading past Maignan.

France came out stronger and more determined in the second period. When Kolo Muani headed Lucas Digne’s cross from the left wing past Belgium goalkeeper Koen Casteels, they gained the lead and pinned the Belgians back into their own half.

When Aurélien Tchouaméni was sent off in the 76th minute for a second yellow card, the match took a different turn as Belgium pushed for an equalizer while France attempted to maintain their lead.
