Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk was seen working at McDonald’s as part of a charitable campaign

This week, Liverpool’s center-back Virgil van Dijk was spotted working at the drive-thru window of a McDonald’s in Kirkby, helping customers with their orders.

Known for his achievements on the field, van Dijk surprised fans by delivering McDonald’s meals to their cars, showcasing a different side of himself beyond football.

Since his £75 million transfer from Southampton to Liverpool in January 2018, the Dutch defender has shown a strong commitment to community involvement.

However, few would have expected the 6’5” star to be serving at the drive-thru window for those stopping by for a quick meal.

Social media videos captured Van Dijk assisting McDonald’s staff by managing orders at the window. Naturally, a crowd quickly gathered, with children pressing against the glass to get a close look at the Liverpool player.

Dressed casually in jeans, a pullover, and sneakers, Van Dijk was later seen holding a tray of McFlurrys, distributing them to eager customers. His unexpected appearance at McDonald’s sparked a flurry of comments online, with fans expressing surprise and excitement at seeing him in such an unusual setting.
