Liverpool visited Newcastle’s home ground in the 14th round of the English Premier League.

The hosts had an early chance when Sandro Tonali unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box toward the bottom right corner, but Caoimhin Kelleher made an impressive save to keep Liverpool level.

Shortly after, Jacob Murphy tried his luck with a long-range effort, but his shot sailed over the crossbar.

Liverpool quickly countered with opportunities of their own. Alexis Mac Allister struck a mid-range shot that rattled the post. Minutes later, he unleashed a powerful volley toward the bottom right corner, only for Nick Pope to deny him with a brilliant save.

Despite a competitive back-and-forth, Newcastle broke the deadlock in the 35th minute. Alexander Isak latched onto a precise pass from Bruno Guimaraes and sent an unstoppable shot into the top right corner, putting the hosts ahead by halftime.

In the second half, Liverpool came out pressing hard, and their efforts paid off. In the 50th minute, Mohamed Salah delivered a perfectly timed assist to Curtis Jones, who fired a clinical shot into the top right corner to equalize for The Reds.
